I am not entirely certain why I started this site. I do, however, know that it was an outlet for me to chronicle the experiment that I call life. A chronological collage of passionate pursuits that range from design to politics, history to wine making. Frankly, 96.34% of the articles one might stumble upon here are poorly written, contain little to no intellectual content, and, if they were supposed to be funny, they are not. But for me, its more about the journey than the destination so I might as well have a place to store the memories. This is that place. If you know me personally, welcome. If you do not, then this blog should tell you more about me than you might care to have discovered. You will notice from the posts below, my life is blissfully chaotic, and I would have it no other way. So welcome, enjoy, and return soon in good health.
This is the Leonhardt blog. I am Brett Michael Leonhardt and my better half is Betsy Sarah Leonhardt. We live in New York City where I go to graduate school and Betsy works for a online retailer (check out Fab.com). We have hundreds of passions and hobbies. Keep this blog in your favorites and check back once and a while. If you have comments please feel free to post them or head to the contact page for more contact information.
You will notice a reoccuring dog in many of the photos. Thats Lola, our wonderful little English Bulldog. She is currently around a year old, loves to eat expensive things, has mixed feelings about the swiffer (friend or foe??) and is a huge part of our life. She loves NOTHING more than a good Sunday nap, watching baseball, and chasing New York City pigeons.
